ACCI has a structure that determines and direct how the Initiative is run and governed. At the top of the governance structure is the Board. The Board’s role in ACCI is to provide leadership and help the executive Director and their team to work towards the realization of the mission of the organization. The Board of Directors is to provide strategy, oversight and accountability in the organization The Executive Director is the top manager of ACCI. He is supposed to report to the Board on issues that affect the day-to-day management of the organization. He is based in the headquarters while overseeing all the activities of ACCI in Africa. Below the Executive Director are Country Directors. These are the Managers of ACCI in the various countries. They are supposed to report to the Executive Director.
